Hi folks, I found this thread a couple of months ago after I was charged by Actitech. I could not find anything about it in my Apple subscriptions. I protested the charge and Paypal denied it. Finally, I went to my e-mail and searched for Actitech. It was an app called "Dancebit". They charged me after a free trial, but the subscription was invisible so I had no idea I was subscribed to them. I lost that money ( about $70), but wrote an e-mail to cancel further subscriptions and took a screenshot. If they charge me again, now I can show Paypal that I have canceled it.    I see this company is charging people for apps with different names and people write about it here. However, writing and complaining to a community is not going to stop them. If Paypal knows what they are doing I am sure they will stop dealing with them.   So, please consider calling Paypal or writing to them and refer to this thread. They may not listen to one person, but they will take it seriously if hundreds complain.  ... View more

I wasn’t able to get my money back from PayPal because I didn’t have the cancellation proof. But how could I, when it doesn’t even show in my subscriptions? I found them in my email and sent an email to cancel the account. Now I have proof but they have already robbed the initial money. My suggestion is to call PayPal instead of sending a report . That is their trick. It’s very hard to find what app they are. They also don’t show on your subscription. So they can go unnoticed for a long time. The website is so vague that it’s hard to understand what they do. This is a scam to take money. I appealed to PayPal but my request was denied because I didn’t have a cancellation notice! Now I see so many have the same problem. We all should call PayPal and let them know if this scam. That’s the reason I have always used PayPal. To find out what app they are associated with, on your mailbox search for their name and find the first confirmation email. You should see the name of the app in the email . That’s how I found mine. With me, it was FastEasy app on iPhone. But looks like they might operate under several different apps. ... View more

It is the FastEasy App on your phone. They are very sneaky as they don't show in the Apple subscriptions. Actitech seems to be  their company based in Cyprus. On Actitech website there is no indication of what the company is. So they can charge you in the background while you are trying to figure out who they are.  You have to go to the FastEasy App on your phone and cancel there. Then take a picture of the cancellation notice. Monitor your PayPal account and if they charge you dispute it and send the picture of the cancellation notice.
