I was scammed $300 by a buyer who was pretending to be Zelle and when I figured out what was happening— I filed for a dispute and mentioned that I had all the evidence that I was being scammed. I sent the money as Friends&Family too. At first, it said that the request I made was denied, so I waited 10 minutes before I was going to call Paypal but to my surprise, the $300 was sent back to my account and the case was closed so I didn’t need to call them. ... Hi, I’ve had this happen to me once and fortunately PayPal forced the scammer to refund the money back to my account— and that was with Friends&Family too! So make sure you keep all the evidence in case you ever need it to dispute it. Good luck! ... View more
