I just got a update of the case, and it's dismissed as "no unauthorized access" even tho it literally was unauthorized access... So that means that Paypal is just telling me to shove it and accept that my account was hacked, and i lost 450 € that i urgently needed because they are unwilling to help me, because they for some reason decided with whatever data they have that this fraudulent transaction must have been intended to happen by me, or whatever? Is there any way to get that money back? ... View more

As mentioned, the money was taken from my PayPal Balance itself, not from my bank or CC or anything like that. And I already reported the transaction as a fraudulent transaction via the "report problem" button in the transaction window, and the case is open How do i add information to a open case btw? Because i just realized that a "bank account added" that i did two months ago was indeed me, but when i opened the case i did not remember adding it, falsely labeling it as part of the unauthorized access issue, which i now want to correct without causing the entire case to be dismissed... ... Fraudulent "Friends and Family" transaction

I just noticed, that I have a 450 € transaction via "Friends and Family" from earlier today, that I did not do myself. The only way this could have happened, if my account was somehow compromised/hacked (despite 2fA) and the hacker sent the money off to some burner account or whatever. The money was PayPal Balance. I urgently need the money that I lost in this fraudulent transaction. Is there ANY way to get it back as soon as possible? I know that typically Friends and Family is non-refundable, but seeing as this was a hacked/fraudulent transaction, that restriction should not apply. I already reported it as such on the transaction itself, and changed the password in the process of doing so. PLEASE help... ... View more
