@bruno_777 When you add to a paypal account from a bank account it goes as an echeque which is a bank transfer. The only time its instant is when you purchase something when paypal credit the seller in advance and paypal wait for the echeque to clear to pay paypal back again. However with friends/family payments or adding to your paypal account you take the wait. There is a risk that paypal will try and sort the neg balance out themselves by reapplying to your bank or back up card to resolve the neg balance. If that happens you would have 2 payments on the way, the first would resolve the neg balance and the second would be added as a positive balance which you could withdraw again if you wanted to.
