I was bidding on all surplus and they have a paypal payment and a credit card payment and anything over 5000.00 has to be paid by bank draft till you buy like 50 times on there site I won a bid for 2900.00 tried to use paypal to pay there programming blocked me saying I was still a stage one account and couldn't use paypal .The only reason I gave a bid was because I could use paypal and they take paypal .after you win the bid you pay the ticket and it puts up the three methods of payment and the programing blocked every method except bank draft .it wasn't over 5k so called them immediately and they gave me a bunch of mouth demanding that i send them a bank draft .Or my account would be locked and I would have to pay them 40 percent of the bid price .I told them you have paypal but you won't let me use it .I will not send you a bank draft I bid on your site because you take/use paypal and I use paypal for its protections if you don't let me pay threw paypal I won't buy the item. They said i had to call the government seller to get out of the purchase .I did just that the captain of a fire department answered and said it was beyond his paygrade to handle it .I had to talk to the chief after 5 calls and the runaround and never once talked to the chief or anyone except a operator or something .I noticed that my All surplus account was locked to prevent me from bidding or even saving items . And the bid ticket for the item was removed from my account as well and this was within 36 hours of winning the bid and you have 5 days to send some money and 10 days for pickup . well i figured the case was closed .I also noticed that I told the all surplus chat box that there was no rule I couldnt us use paypal under 5k on there site posted they said thanks for that information we will fix that it has since found its way on there site as of now they changed it it use to say if you are new you couldn't use credit over 1k now it says paypal and credit cant be used over 1k if you are new. I find it odd that they are blocking people by choosing who gets the paypal protections and who doesn't also. Do they even have a right to block any one from bidding on government surplus it seams to me they don't have a right to choose that only the wealthy who have a bundle of cash can get government surplus of there site my account was blocked because they wouldn't take a method of payment that they take not because I didn't have the funds because they dont want me or others to have the paypal protections on items over 1k .To add to there bs they sent me a 1040.00 bill in my email for the 40 percent demanding payment of the 40 percent of the bid this all within the 5 day window or 10 day pickup and still no phone call or answer in 5 days from the chief and any one at the fire house that was selling the item .My question is what law firm handles internet legal and will go after these criminals who believe they own the government and can push people around this is definitely a violation of many laws on there side not to mention they feel they can put a gun to peoples heads and make them pay them anyway they make up and you risk security and buyers protection that paypal gives us . just because all surplus doesn't want you protected from there frauds if you are not of the wealthy you are at there mercy and i Doubt this is legal blocking Americans from bidding on government surplus because of there income it is definitely a discrimination issue on all surplus no protection or buying if you are not wealthy .So who goes after criminals like this anyway .
