the most atrocious thing is the inability to opt out in all scenarios. I have my auto billing setup to use a specific card but if for some reason the fraud 2FA is triggered I don't have the opportunity to authorise the payment PayPal will automatically take a backup card and apply the conversion which I have zero chance to opt out of.
