I saw an ad in IG so I hit “Learn More” to see what it was all about. Next thing I know I’m charged $49.99 for a monthly subscription. I contacted them through email and kept getting the runaround that they have a three day trial period and if not canceled a $49.99 subscription fee will be charged monthly. I emailed them that I never opened an account but they copied their refund policy: “ Please be advised that in accordance with our money-back policy the “Money-back guarantee” does not apply to the following cases: 1. Personal reasons (you don’t like the product, it did not meet your expectations, etc.); 2. Financial reasons (you did not expect that you will be charged, that the trial will be converted into a subscription, that the subscription will automatically renew, or that the services are paid, etc.).” They said they would can my subscription (which I never authorized) but couldn’t refund the $49.99. I asked how they even got my PayPal account and said I would take up the matter with PayPal. Within minutes of my sending that email they refunded my money. Seems to me that since I’m not the only one this has happened to, there’s something illegal going on here Donna
