At this point, there are many people that have and continue to have their money held indefinitely by PayPal, and PayPal does not seem to have any intention of releasing the funds to people, nor to act in good faith by honoring their “15 minutes” promises or commitments as stated on their site(s) , so many are left with no other option but to file formal complaints with: Consumer Financial Protection Bureau | https://www.consumerfinance.gov/complaint/ State Departments of Consumer Affairs/Attorney General’s Offices FTC And other local, state and federal agencies. Screenshot all written message between you and PayPal and any notifications or language about the “Tax ID Hold” on the site, in articles and what you see when you login or click on that yellow notification, etc. I screenshot everyday, and have since this issue began to ensure nothing can be disputed, given the slippery nature of the reps that have communicated with me and change the story as often as they can… from technical issue to, telling me not to email , but to call, and when I call telling me to email on the site… It’s a pretty awful customer experience!
