I've found that I can usually hit the 2% spin reward in the Fold app within 5 spins, so I spread out my payments at $1250 or less each. If I owe more than $1250 in a given month, I'll just make multiple payments of $1250 or less to maximize rewards. I rarely hit anything higher than the 2%, but have it 3% & 5% once or twice. ... You can talk to 5 different PayPal CSRs and get 10 different answers...they're clueless and provably so.   I just payed my Citibank (Costco Credit Card) and Synchrony (PayPal's very own credit card) Credit Cards over the phone using the Fold Debit card. I've also been told that Chase will let you pay via debit card at any of their branded ATMs, but for some stupid reason, they don't allow debit card payment over the phone/app/websites. So, our double-dipping on CCs/Fold can still work, it's now just a PITA and takes twice as long to accomplish, but still worth it, in my opinion.   I'm going to try to pay my mortgage and utility expenses through the PayPal Bill-Pay app after the 1st to see if those still work. I've read from some that those type of expenses are still clearing without issue, but we'll see. Same issue here. I pay all my bills this way using the Fold prepaid debit card as my method of payment, so this has been very disrupting. I find it awful coincidental that this ability/service went offline the same time SVB, Silvergate and Signature bank meltdowns occurred. Chokepoint 2.0, perhaps? Please fix this, PayPal! ... View more
