This post is a few months old now, but I had the same exact problem and today I received an answer. I too could not connect my Marcus Goldman Sachs account with my Paypal account. I tried connecting to the other from each account... no success. I called Marcus Goldman Sachs and was told that they do not allow connection with any "prepaid" accounts (Paypal, Red Dot, etc). Nevermind that these are actually debit accounts, but ok, whatever. I explained that we Paypal users are their precise targeted market. They've targeted a market, then refused to serve it. The nice CS lady agreed to send in a product suggestion on my behalf. 🙂 So for anyone else experiencing this, that is the answer. Marcus does not want to play nice with Paypal. We and our money are stuck in the middle.
