I locked my PayPal credit card on the PayPal.com but transactions are still going. When I called to Synchrony bank they said my credit card account is not freezed. It displays the locked status on the card in the app or on the website. But it is not locked actually in the bank. This is obviously a system integration issue. Unfortunately the PayPal or Synchrony Bank customer service is not able to resolve or even file a bug for mobile app or web site issues.
