I wanted to test out pay in 3 on a small purchase to see if it is usable for future uses. I then find out after using pay in 3 they have charged me twice, 1st payment is the 1/3 of the actual product I bought, second payment is a authorization which was never mentioned or brought up whatsoever in the agreement or in the terms or conditions, and now I have an additional charge despite saying there will be no additional fees or etc. I tried disputing it with PayPal but they said they can not dispute this transaction. so my question is, why am I being charged extra for using this service? will this be something that PayPal will do every time I want to order a product using pay in 3? make me pay 2/3 at start then pay an additional 2/3 of remaining product? lastly why did they fail to mention to there customers that by using service requires giving PayPal a authorization pay? it feels like I am being conned PayPal, no additional fees then they take extra money from bank and say I can't dispute cause its a authorization.
