Hey PayPal Community, we have big news about badges coming your way!
We're pumped to share some exciting updates with you regarding our PayPal Community Recognition. You know, those little ranking icons next to your name and those badges displayed on your profile page that showcase your involvement and expertise? Yeah, those!
Show off your shine with a new look:
We're sprucing up how badges are displayed on your profiles. Because let's face it, you deserve to flaunt your achievements. To view your own Badges page, click on the profile icon in the upper right corner of the page. Then click “My Profile”. Click "View All" if you want to see the complete list of badges earned and what are some of the ones you could get in the future.
New Badges & Rank updates:
We're jazzing things up and adding categories! Whether you're a seasoned pro or just dipping your toes into the community waters, there will be more opportunities for you to earn new badges. Look out for some “secret” badges too, happy badge hunting! On the Ranks side, we're updating the look of the rank icons as well as adding a new top rank that can be achieved.
New fun ways to earn badges:
We've heard you loud and clear. We've revamped the badge requirements to make them more achievable and reflective of the awesome ways you contribute. It's all about encouraging everyone to get involved and have a blast doing it. We know that you’ve worked hard to get those badges you’ve earned – don’t worry, you’ll keep what you already have even with this new structure!

All these Community Recognition updates will be rolling out gradually over the next few weeks. So don't be surprised if you start seeing some changes or shiny new badges popping up.
