I am not a business owner. I am not, nor have I ever sold anything via PayPal (or anywhere else). I am literally too poor to have anything to sell. I am desperately trying to raise money to get rent paid because I'm disabled, can't work, and welfare here is an absolute joke. So can someone please tell me why PayPal has suddenly started putting holds on money my FRIENDS send me, with the "justification" that they "need to make sure I'm actually sending what was purchased" when NOTHING WAS PURCHASED. IT WAS MONEY SENT BY A FRIEND TO HELP ME COVER RENT. I don't have a business account and never EVER have. I've tried to report the problem, but I keep getting an error that just says there was a problem on PayPal's end and to try again later.
