I’ve had three payments taken from my account with this reference in the last two days. None were linked to purchases and I hadn’t given a dd mandate to PayPal. I told my bank and they opened a case. An hour later I was refunded. Three hours later my partner, who has very different spending habits to mine, noticed a sum going to the exact same reference. Her bank did likewise, suggesting neither of us had given permission. Beware. Cancel the dd immediately and tell your bank.
