Hi, I bought some $700 headphones on eBay and paid via Paypal. The seller shipped them via USPS with delivery confirmation only. There were no options for me, the buyer, the specifiy what type of shipping method should be used. The auction info stated that the "best method" would be used (as determined by the seller). The delivery address was very obviously a business address. So the item gets delivered on a Saturday, and I find on Monday when I go there that there is no sign of it. It must have just been left outside, and no doubt someone passing by just took it. So my question is, can I reasonably expect to win a claim here? The seller gave me no choice as to the shipping method, and then went on to choose one that was completely inappropriate for such a valuable item. But, I cannot proove I did not receive it, as the tracking info says it was delivered, after all.
