@kjmounteer As I said if its showing as SENT then it has successfully transferred to the email address you sent it to that is linked to an open paypal account. If it had not completed then it would show as unclaimed. Sadly it appears that the person that received the funds may be being less than honest in admitting that they have the funds. If they can't access their account then they could ask customer services to help them log on as the account is still active. As it was a friends/family payment then you have 0 buyer protection and unless the receiver voluntarily refunds then not a lot you can do about it unfortunately. You could try reaching out to customer services and asking them to request a refund from the recipient but as you sent a gift payment then they cannot force them to do so.
