Let's escelate this case to the dev group. The backstory is that I had the [Removed] axxount for a few years with normal login. I went enable 2FA and for login, it wanted to send code to phone number. I realized I did not have the number anymore so, I called customer service. They could disable 2FA, but would need to send the code to the number, but I don't have access. I explained I could give updated phone number. Hiwever, they explained the only option was to delete the fricken account, and I lost small amount of funds. So, for a test I re-register the account again, setup secret questions, etc. Again, enabling 2FA, and again once it wants to send security code. In the USA, with 2FA you have the option to login with either 2FA or Phone number verification. You can't have just a phone as the only option for login. Phone companies go bankrupt in Ecuador, there is sim swapping, if you don't use a phone for awhile, it's given to someone else. If I transfer 10k to the account, it's gone forever without access to the number. What di we need to do to escelate this?
