I do not have a mobile phone and neither does my husband now, we made this choice because we don't need them. Our landline has a gate on it to prevent scam and unwanted calls and we have to let people through, so it doesn't accept automated ones. Our bank and credit card use our email for the codes and don't then need to be sending texts. All this has meant that since PayPal started this crazy system, I have not been able to use it at all so my account will lapse. I can't understand why they would assume everyone has a mobile phone.
