Just to add - if you've received no emails from the vendor after paying via PayPal...don't wait too long to raise a query.  Genuine online websites/services usually have very quick email confirmation delivery times once you've completed a purchase, so trust what you know to be true/good practice.  Once the query is raised, you have to wait a little while before escalating to claim to allow the vendor to respond, so get in there early.    In this case, we didn't really expect this to happen as it wasn't a genuine vendor with technical issues etc that would have responded appropriately in a timely fashion. ... Going to add my experience to this - the wife saw a Facebook ad for garden sheds and we went for it...reasoning that PayPal should provide security if it did turnout to be dodgy.  Just like the others on this thread, the payment went through and the seller was ' AEC PEE SHOP'.    Total scam though, no contact, tracking status never moved from 'waiting to be sent'...then the page has now gone and the various scam check sites give it a very poor rating.   PayPal stepped up and refunded the money after I escalated the query to a claim - no issues really.  I called their customer support line after providing the info online re: the checks I'd done today and the detail of our experience with them, inc no communication.  The young lady was happy to close the claim in our favour and issue the refund straightaway, so yay.  In this case at least, the system works 😊 ...
