Same thing just happened to me!!! I set a max bid on two Pokémon cards on buyee and the bid end in the middle of the night my time. I woke up and saw two emails on the same item, one said I was outbid then the next one said I won the item? I didn’t know why until I received the item. So instead of sending the two cards on the item pics, the seller sent me a totally different card which only worth 5.99 including free shipping on eBay. The two cards I won cost me 245 dollars and 17 dollars shipping. I contacted buyee customer service but they refuse helping me getting a refund from the seller. I told buyee I would send the wrong card back to them on my own cost but they told me since I used the lite option, I don’t get my money back….. I was really mad that means anyone can scam people like me. We need some kind of buyer protection here. So I contacted my credit card and told them the story and they opened a dispute for me. This charge I made is through PayPal, I don’t know if I can get my money back. But anyone can see this is a scam. You set your bid and the seller has all the robots to bid on the same item you bid and make it looks legit. But then at the end the seller deleted the top bid and make you (the second highest bidder) the winning bid. I hope PayPal can help to get our money back and let these scammers know they can’t always win and take other peoples hard working money like that.
