I received an email on November 16, 2021 that was order confirmation for Anchorage Armory for $698 that was allegedly debited from my "Pay-Pal." It included a statement "The subscription will be renewed automatically next week unless you contact us 24 hours prior to the expiration date to stop it." My concern is that I traveled to Mexico for vacation last week, and I did a PayPal transaction with my phone while I was there, so worried if that caused this fraud/phishing problem. No money transaction on my PayPal account, but I changed my password and security questions. Had a toll free phone number that appeared to sound like a non-USA number and a gmail address. I also filed a fraud report at FTC.gov so they can track occurrences and warn others if same scam occurs.
