While pirateship does require you to copy and paste info, if you copy just the street part of the address, in most cases the rest of the address will automatically pop up and you don’t have to go back and forth. Just by doing it a few times, I have found it to take about the same amount of time as shipstation. I have only used shipstation twice since they forced me to switch over, but I’ve tried opening it other times to compare the rates, and well over half the time I tried it came up with an error message and I wouldn’t have been able to use it anyways. Because of the usps postage rate increase, if you have any package over a pound it is cheaper to use ups, which shipstation does not provide.  ... View more

I checked yesterday and apparently usps announced a “temporary price increase” on postage which started October 3rd. While this doesn’t have anything to do with shipstation or PayPal, PayPal still should never have made the switch from their old method of shipping. ... View more

If you want to close the account, that is up to you. PayPal is still one of the most readily used methods of payment by people all over the world, so I feel like to close your account will hurt you more than them if you are an online business. As I suggested before, I think the best way to get their attention is to use a different shipping method that isn’t shipstation. Given enough time of using a different method they’ll surely see that their statistics were better before they switched to shipstation. Just my two cents. ... View more

Because shipstation didn’t offer UPS labels, and the 6 pound package I was sending out would have cost a little over $22 through usps, I found a different site called pirateship. I was able to print out a label through UPS for under $14, and unlike stamps.com you don’t need to pay for a subscription. You may try them. I was able to print a first class label through shipstation earlier today, but as I mentioned it was slightly more than it was just a day ago when I didn’t have to use shipstation. I too would like to go back to the old way. When I went to print my shipping labels today it gave me no other choice but to sign up for this service. They claimed it would be cheaper (up to 66% off), would save time, and be basically better in every way. Not only were the rates higher, I had to input information I never had to before, and they do not offer UPS labels….I ship at least 1000 packages per year, and with this change I will now be seeking a new service. PayPal, if you are listening, do the right thing and remove shipstation ASAP. Shipstation is certainly going to cause them to lose business from many others who are just like me ... View more
