Paypal is scamming me and not giving my money

So, I bought something out of ebay and returned the item and merchant refunded me only half amount. So, I filed the dispute with Paypal because it was mode of payment for ebay. Paypal said that merchant has already refunded the amount and closed the case, but I have filed the dispute for the full amount which I should be receiving. So, with no help from Paypal I file case with my credit card company for the remaining amount. Upon doing that Paypal put the negative balance on my account and said it will be my credit card company, who will refund me the full amount. But I repeatedly said Paypal that I have only filed the dispute for partial amount which I was supposed to receive. But they insisted that I will be receiving full refund from credit card company and I have to pay the negative balance on paypal. Since, the payment for that negative balance was paid by my debit card (which is different bank), my credit card company didn't have access to the paypal's negative balance. So, my credid card company issued me the remaining amount of dispute but did not refund me the amount which paypal has put negative balance on my account saying that my credit card statement shows that merchant has previously refunded that amount. Upon talking with paypal agents, every agent has different and repeatitive answer. According to them, no negative balance has been put on my account. But I sent them them screenshot, email that I have received from paypal regarding debt and aslo my bank statements which ckearly shows that the monwy was deducted from my account. Till now I have spent 5 months and 54 total hours talking with different agents and still no help. What would be the suggestion for me to get my money? Thank you ... View more
