Hello there! I recently received an "Action Required" message from PayPal asking for a U.S. taxpayer identification number (TIN). I am not a U.S. citizen, and I don't travel to or live in the U.S. My freelance billing comes from work done for clients in the U.S (and other countries). Typically, in a "good year", I may bill U.S. clients under $4k-$5K. So: a) Is anyone else in the community facing similar predicament? b) Do I still need to action that request - Form 1099-K? Any assistance, response, suggestions, would be greatly appreciated.
