If you got an invitation to the "big Gala" event on Sept. 13th in the Los Angeles area, be aware that all that travel and expense to be a part of the "event" will only net you drinks, some kind of presentation, a shuttle bus to a movie lot studio where they give you a 3 course meal and THAT'S IT! You DO NOT get a room for the night, as was inferred by the announcement/invitation that was sent out in early Aug. So, when it is all over at 11PM-ish, you are on your own with no where to stay. I was going to drive up from San Diego (140 miles each way), thinking that there was at least a one night's stay involved, but that is not the case. I certainly have spent more than enough $$$ to be worthy of a week's stay there, but I guess it is all for the high-up mucky mucks/employees that want to spend our hard-earned $$ on a week of playing and having meetings in a posh resort. I got a half-hearted "apology" on behalf of PAYPAL by the 3rd party promoter/organizer.... Hard to see any "ADVANTAGE" in being in this "club" so far. Big disappointment for me and my guest....
