I made a payment Saturday for ¥20,434 and selected Pay in 4, but then mistakenly selected again to pay via my bank account. I requested a refund, explaining the situation, for ¥15,326, under the impression they could change my payment plan. Well, PayPal refunded me ¥15,326, all right, but they didn't change my payment plan, and the vendor is asking me to pay ¥20,434 again. My two options are pay ¥20,434 again and lose ¥5108 or cancel and lose ¥5108. I can't report a problem with the original payment again because I get the message "Our records indicate that you have already received a refund for this payment of ¥15,326." I can only report it as unauthorized activity, which it wasn't. So about $50 is essentially being stolen from me no matter what I do. I can't report a problem with the refund at all. How can I resolve this?
