This is my third attempt to file another complaint. I am beyond frustrated with Paypal and this entire ordeal. I have invested far to much time, money and energy trying to get his resolved. Friday, May 21st I awoke to see I had paid an individual $198.00 for "professional services". I adamantly contend I have NEVER done business with this individual or hired them for any sort of service. This purchase was made at 4:34 AM, when I was out of town (and asleep, for that matter). My initial claim of Unauthorized Activity was denied, so I appealed. I spoke with several people via PayPal Assistant. The recurring DAILY charge of $198.00 for 99 consecutive days was cancelled, however, PayPal said I still owed the initial payment (How does this NOT wreak of fraud?). Furthermore, payment appears to have been made for a gift card (again, highly suspicious, IMHO). Three separate attempts to request the documents used to determine this decision were ignored by PayPal. Attempts to contact seller were similarly not successful. Each email bouncing as "unrecognized email address". Finally, someone in PayPal Account Review Department reached out to me and changed the initial claim to "item not received" and reversed the denial of my claim. After this change was made, I a notification that the Seller had printed a FedEx label and my envelope or package would be delivered this past Wednesday (again, an item I NEVER purchased). No delivery was made. A claim was filed with FedEx (claim #0527653208) to report no delivery occurred, in an attempt to protect myself from further fraud from this person. On Friday, May 29th, I received an email from PayPal that my claim was once again denied, as this person provided a shipping number proving item was delivered (it was not, and I have security footage to prove nothing was every delivered during the stated delivery time). At this point, I am angry and frustrated by the lack of protections PayPal has provided me, my financial information and security. I have requested another review and refund of my $198.00 which was FRAUDENTLY charged. At this time, my last request was denied due to the item not being covered under their payment protection. I am so beyond frustrated! Please help. I'm open to any suggestions which may lead to having these charges reversed. I am talking to my bank in the morning, to report the fraud, as well.
