My ex husband hit me once, in our 23rd yr., but so badly I have permanent neuro damage and can no longer walk or stand. I’m unable to use my right arm which I used to protect myself from the painful blows. I have late stage Lyme Disease - no testing or treatment in the 25+ years I’ve had it—and have lost about 60% of my sight in past year and about 50% of my hearing as well. I have lots of neurological symptoms preventing me from caring for myself or the kitties he left me with. I don’t know anyone because we moved to Tx from CA and I’ve been either bedridden or too ill to go anywhere. I’m at a loss how to proceed next. I’m orig from Germany, altho an American and wonder if I can get there. I live on 3rd floor and can’t get outside to go anywhere.
