Had someone make a payment to me via my PayPal account. I received an email notification that it was paid and the email said I needed to verify my email and had a link to do so (and it said I would need the verification code that was listed in the email). The window that comes up asks for my login with the button that says confirm email. I haven't used my PayPal in many, many years, but I still had my login and it worked, so I pressed conform email. However, it just opened right to my account. There were no other messages about needing that verification code from the email. and no notification that I received any funds. What am I missing? (Note: I had originally asked this person to pay me thru Venmo, but for some reason they used PayPal.) Confused.
