yup ... PP kindly paid me back my original purchase [still some $20 out for internal [ZA] postal collection which is ok I guess]. I did however keep PP in the loop from day one whilst trying to get this scamming company to pay up ... also I copied the Chinese Consulate in my country. Although I got my cash back I'm sure its not going to stop these scammers from continuing their rip-off scheme ...  I still see their adverts [Google Ads I think] all over the net. Best then to get everyone in the chain involved  ... from the companies that benefit from the false advertising to the ones handling payments ... the whole chain is contributing / facilitating thousands of scammed $s ... not only the "manufacturer". ... ORDERPLUS took 2 months to get my order delivered ... they have an order tracking system on their (BLAROKEN in my case) website. They use several websites. Tracking system seems genuine. Engage with ORDERPLUS to see where your order is ... likelihood is that you will receive your order but not the product you are expecting.  ... View more

I eventually got a refund ... partly thanks to PayPal. I sent various emails of complaint to PayPal, ORDERPLUS (3 different emails) and copied in the Chinese Consulate (South Africa) ... Consulate did not respond but ORDERPLUS could see who was on copy. This process took several weeks. I was challenged to send back the goods at my cost ... I refused stating the “mistake” was made by ORDERPLUS and they should thus pay for return if indeed they want the  goods back ... no response ... In support of PAYPAL ... they were listening and got involved in my case and facilitated a refund. My appreciation. Thank you PAYPAL. The next big step to this "cure" is prevention ... how to prevent consumers falling for such scams ... [?] ... Based in ZA I was scammed. Received my order 2 months after placing it ... goods were not even close to what I ordered ... really bad quality. I complained. They seem not to care. I got PAYPAL involved who did not really respond in a satisfactory way either ... I guess having scammers as vendors is okay (?). Nonetheless ORDERPLUS refused at first to refund ... then partial refund was offered ... no thank you I want FULL refund and goods return is for ORDERPLUS account. They argued ... I then engaged with Chinese embassy in ZA. No reply from the Embassy but did get a promise by ORDERPLUS to refund in full (in 7 days) without goods return. I too have been scammed ... fortunately only USD 69.99 [including shipping paid twice!] I am super surprised that a company like PAYPAL does not investigate further given all these complaints ... OR at least warn you when making payment. Complaints should be listed as part of the payment process ... in order to make their customers aware. The conduct of ORDERPLUS is disgusting and should be reported to authorities within the hosting country. It makes me now also distrust PAYPAL as a vehicle for payment. ... View more
