I’ve ordered an armchair from sofafans.co.uk website, paid £235.37 and received damaged item. Sent email to the seller, received no response. Opened the case on PayPal and found out that I can get money back but need to sent armchair on my own cost to the seller. They just sent me a response asking for tracking number, I did respond that it’s seller responsibility to arrange a collection as it was damaged condition. Case was closed without letting me know that PayPal buyer protection doesn’t cover returning goods. I’m begin them now to help me. I’m willing to send this armchair back at my own cost. Just want to make sure that I get money i’ve originally paid for. I’m so upset...I’ve contacted my bank, costumer helpline and citizen advice - has been sent back to PayPal. I did make a formal complaint but I’m not sure if they received it as I’ve had no email confirmation that I’ve sent it and no response either. Is there anything else I can do?
