First of all, I have been using PayPal since probably 2005 and never faced a problem in my PayPal account! As a result, I always trusted PayPal and always tried to pay with my PayPal account when shopping online. However, and after the following incident, I might stop trusting PayPal. On Feb 14th, I sent a message to PayPal support telling them that I noticed a charge of $99 on the 27th of January which I do not recognize! I also told them that the seller name mentioned in the details of the activity (Rob <removed> ) is also not recognizable and the seller put this random number (<removed>) in the description of the purchase details which means nothing to me! Also, this unknown seller did not put a website address or a company email address and the only way of communication the seller put was this strange email address which looks fake to me! Please see screenshots below for that activity. <removed> An agent called me back and I confirmed to him that I do not recognize the seller name and the charge however I also cannot confirm if it is a fraud as it might be something that I ordered and I forgot! He asked me if the shipping address is correct, and I told him it is my correct US shipping forwarder address, however no package arrived in my suite as the USPS tracking information suggests! (USPS Tracking Number: 9400109898642624646224) Please see screenshots below: <removed> I asked if he could provide me with more details about the seller like a website address to help me identify and remember this transaction, but he could not any and advised me to contact the seller with the provided Gmail address. During a full week, I sent 6 emails and reminders to that known seller, but I never got a single reply which increased my doubt that this could be a fraud case! So, I contacted my US shipping forwarder asking them once more to double check about the package and provided them with the USPS tracking number. They came back to me and said that they called their local USPS office and found out the package was sent to different address in Nashua, NH. Please see screenshot below: <removed> It was sent to <removed> This confirmed to me that this is indeed a fraud, so I went to my PayPal account to report this problem and selected “Report unauthorized activity” explaining everything in the report with case number PP-I-13746606. In less than 15 hours I received email saying, “We've completed our review of your unauthorized activity case, and we’ve determined there was no unauthorized use”!!! Please see screenshot below: <removed> I went directly to Resolution Center in my account and found the case has been closed with no way to re-open it or appeal! Please see screenshot below: <removed> My case was closed without even giving me a chance to reply!!!! What the hell is that? I am reporting a 100% fraud charges on my credit card and I provided all necessary proofs but an irresponsible and careless PayPal agent who clearly did not even investigate and just decided to close the case in less than 15 hours!!! On what grounds he determined and decided that this transaction was not unauthorized?!! This is a 100% fraud case, and PayPal needs to take responsibility and fully investigate about it instead of trying to evade. Obviously, the irresponsible PayPal agent did not even bother to communicate with the fake seller, or even call the USPS to confirm that the package was indeed delivered to different address than what the fake seller claimed on the activity page on my PayPal account! I had to go back and think carefully trying to remember what is happening here, then I remembered ordering a Porsche Design Eyeglass frame from a website I forgot its name! Unfortunately I closed my Chrome session accidently and was not able to recover it which had open tap for that website. However I now remember that I searched google for a specific frame model from Porsche Design and from the many results in Google I open a link for this online store which looked totally legit and ordered the frame using my PayPal account. Clearly the seller trick was to use my correct shipping address in the PayPal activity page, but use different shipping address with the shipping company! Now how contact PayPal and ask for my refund? Any email please?
