I saw this post come up in a search because I was recently scammed the same way. I purchase a rolling tool chest from a Chinese seller on Facebook Marketplace, only to realize it was a fraud a couple days later, when I received a notice the shipment was out for delivery via UPS but the package said it was only 1.3lbs. This thing was advertised on the web page as weighing FAR more than that! When I checked the provided tracking number? It said it was delivered a couple days earlier to my house address! Thing is - it was a valid tracking number from another item I’d ordered recently. So guessing they somehow managed to steal that info out of my browser cookies! PayPal won’t refund me because the tracking number shows a delivery and to my proper address. What now??
