I purchased an item from "pursuitnice.com" on 3rd October and paid with Paypal US$182.85. The merchandise NEVER arrived. I lodged a complaint initially with the vendor who said that they sent it to the WRONG address (!?) and will send again. The vendor gave a tracking number (LZ369079502CN) which shows that some item has arrived somewhere in Australia on 20 October 2020. But I thought the vendor will send the item again as they admitted that they sent it to the wrong address. When the item did not arrive by December, I complained again and the vendor said they have shipped it and again gave the same tracking number (!!). I lodged a complaint with Paypal. They seemed to "investigate" the complaint and have now decided in favour of the seller, since a tracking number has been provided. I bought the item using Paypal thinking there is buyer protection, but Paypal seems to be more inclined to seller protection, especially enabling fraudulent practices. Reading posts in this community it looks like Paypal is already aware of this company even in July 2020 based on a post and seems to have followed the same pseudoinvestigation in my case in December 2020. I have not been given a proof saying that the item has been delivered in my address. And just a tracking number saying some item has been delivered from China to Australia. There is no courier provider in Australia with whom I can check this I would like to check, does any one know who is the Ombudsman for Paypal. They are claiming to provide buyerprotection, but in this case this has clearly not happened and I would like to bring this to the attention of authorities, if there is one.
