I purchased an item using PayPal. When it finally arrived to me in the USA from China, it was absolutely NOT what was described. I contacted PayPal and they told me to mail the item back to the sender. I took the item to my local USPS and mailed it back on December 11, 2020. Since the item is going to China, there are still holiday shipping delays and we are in the middle of a pandemic, it has not yet arrived (according to my tracking information). PayPal closed my case and sided with the scammer. I tried to contact them and they offered no assistance. What are my options at this point? I just want my money back from this scammer!! What is the point of using PayPal if they aren't going to PROTECT me from scammers??
