For almost a month now I have been attempting to log in to my PayPal account but have been unable to since it asks me each time to verify my identity by providing a one-time code send to me via SMS. Only the code is being sent to a number that I am not even familiar with and do not have access to. I've even tried to contact the person who the number belongs to in an act of desperation but have been unsuccessful with this approach along with every other idea I can think of. Contacting customer service via the chat option. results in me waiting 30 minutes per each individual response from an agent and ultimately results in the conversation going in circles until they just stop responding all together. I literally keep my computer and the chat log open all day hoping that I will eventually get a response. Contacting customer service via calling over the phone, results in me being told that the call volume is too high and to try calling back later. This happens every single time I call, no matter the week, day, or hour. I literally have no idea what to do at this point and am hoping that someone out there can help me one way or another, because I am clueless on what to do next.
