PAYPAL SUPPORTS SCAMMERS - I hate PayPal. Deleting...

I ordered a gift online, paid with PayPal. The site was a Scam. I have never been scammed before because I'm super careful but I was Christmas shopping and the website looked totally legit. I didn't do a Google search as I should have and got taken for $65. A quick search showed several "scam alert" sites listing this business as a fraud, so this isn't just my opinion or sour grapes over a negative experience. They are, literally, scam artists.  I waited 2 months, wrote to them several times and heard nothing back.  Eventually, I filed a claim with PayPal and PayPal then sent the seller, Mr. Li <removed> of www.nbaonlinejerseys.biz, a message notifying him of my dispute.  ---Ok... perfect so far.--- He wrote back, via the dispute portal ON THE PAYPAL SITE, stating he shipped my item. We went back and forth a maddening amount of times. Mr. Li <removed> said he shipped it, I asked for tracking, he replied that I needed to be patient (I already waited 2 months). I'd call him a liar. He would never send the tracking info and then we'd go around again. I tired of his stalling games and didn't respond to his last BS shipping reply. A week or so later I logged on to PayPal to see why my money wasn't refunded and guess what? My dispute was closed. I contacted PayPal and asked what was going on. They told me I failed to ESCALATE the dispute within so many days of me filing my initial claim and they closed the dispute and let him keep the money. WHAT??? I thought that the seller's lack of proof and that there was no resolution between us WAS the escalation. PayPal opened the claim, they contacted him and they opened a message portal on the PayPal website for us to interact. It's not unreasonable to assume they were part of the process. I appealed to PayPal explaining my misunderstanding and they refused to help, basically telling me to sod off. This meant that Li <removed> got to KEEP MY MONEY. He stole from me, as he steals from everyone, and he GOT AWAY WITH IT, all facilitated by PayPal. I provided concrete proof of my assertions and attempts to fix the situation, he provided NOTHING and they let that slimeball keep my money. PayPal made money off the transaction, Li <removed> made money and I got nothing but wasted time. I have sent THOUSANDS of dollars - no exaggeration - through PayPal. Maybe $30,000 in 10 years. That's not a fortune but it's still a lot of money. And they gave not one $%*# about my problem. **bleep** You Paypal. And then **bleep** you again. I know you'll bleep me. Amazon Rocks.... Ditto. Sure, it happened as PayPal outlined in the fine print. But one needs to consider the source - because the source is Darth Vader. PayPal is Darth Vader.  They have access to gazillions of dollars of OUR money. The make interest and invest our money while they have it, they function like other financial institutions AND they have no in person, brick and mortar establishments so their overhead is much, much, much less -- and yet they can't help a brother or sister out and refund OUR money like Visa or Wells Fargo or Amazon or Etsy or any other honorable business.
