Hi, I'm a broke uni student and needed to transfer some money from my paypal to someone else to do some shopping without realising that I didn't have the funds available in my bank account to do so. Paypal still allowed me to send the money but after a few days i've seen that the money was attempted to be taken from my bank account but failed to do so and I have a few "Returned direct debit PAYPAL PAYMENT" additions in my account. I've seen that this would lead to my paypal balance going into negative. My paypal account hasn't gone into negative yet but it's going to be about 2 weeks until I will have the spare money to resolve the negative balance when it does happen. Will paypal incur anymore fees in the time between when I can make the payment to restore my account to normal? I'm just extremely worried about my credit score and if paypal will penalise me. I understand that it was my fault for not realising initially but is there anything I can do to stop this from affecting my credit score and to prevent additional fees if there are any? If I phoned up paypal and guaranteed a payment date would that be fine? Sorry for the long post but I'm stressing so much since I'm a student
