Same here. I fell a victim to a scammer from China that promised an amazing toy dog that looks and behaves like a real dog, and even published a video of the "product" showing an real-life dog toy. What I got was a miserable toy that you can get for $3 in any farmers market. The seller/scammer agreed to refund 10%, then 20%, then 50%. I refused and opened a dispute, escalated to PayPal and eventually the seller/scammer agreed to refund 100% if I return the junk to China at my own expense, and they said that they would deduct processing, restocking and other fees. I would be left with maybe $10 back. And where is PayPal's buyer's protection? Gone... Watch out, when you really need PayPal's protection, good luck, you're on your own.
