So unfortunately for me I bought something from this company. Sent me a tracking number. The tracking number eventually stated that the item had been delivered to a parcel locker at my local post office and subsequently picked up. Strange, I don't have a parcel locker and had asked for the item to be addressed to my building. Went to the Australia Post office and they advised that the item with that tracking number was not addressed to me but to a female who owned the parcel locker. They even showed me the screen with the details. So I lodged an investigation with Australia post who were very quick and responded that they had had numerous complaints about this company and confirmed (in email) that the item had never been addressed to me and that they believed that the transaction was indeed fraudulent. So, feeling confident, I logged a case with Paypal armed with all of the above information. Low and behold they found in favour of the seller because he said it had been delivered and provided the tracking number which had no name on it but showed it being delivered to a parcel locker at Docklands (which I do not have). So I call them after finding that this company has over 270 complaints against it on the Paypal Community area. 50 minutes on line with a call centre that was clearly out of the Philippines and could not get this guy to understand that I had confirmation in writing from Australia Post that the item was NEVER addressed to me and it should be well known to Paypal that this company is on the nose. His answer was to take it up with Australia Post (who had done nothing wrong) or to take it up with the authorities (which authorities?). When asking to speak to a Supervisor or Manager he disconnected us. So next steps, a mate of mine is in the Australian Media and loves these types of stories. Done some research on the company involved and there are numerous complaints across various forums. Paypal are enabling this company to defraud people across various countries and despite these numerous complaints are sitting on their hands. Watch this space.
