Don't know why, but it's annoying as hell. Bad enough they are a monopoly for the most part. But they can't even offer basic options like that. And regional rates can save us money with shipping, especially when ebay screws sellers left and right. Every little bit helps. I just go direct through the USPS site when using regional boxes. Annoying.
