So far I was not afraid to order products from internet through PayPal as I thought I would be protected by PayPal. I noticed the producers from China is applying specific scam that I can explain in my last USD 70 sunglasses purchase: 1. The seller didn't ship the sunglasses I ordered. The products were of no use to me. 2. When I contacted them they offered small discount, claiming that the shipping back the products would be too expensive 3. As I feel the seller has been doing this on purpose, I refused the discount and open the case through PayPal asking for full refund 4. The seller has then offered larger discount, that I refused again. 5. Then PayPal decided the case in my favor, but I had to return the product to the seller. I was suppose to ship the product back and claim shipping cost. Even I disagree with this as it takes my time for something I am not responsible , I did it as I hate to be cheated. I also scanned the shipping receipt and downloaded it to PayPal site. I was told that if I do that, I would get full refund 6. I need to mention that PayPal is sending too many mail messages, that I lost the track off. I simply gave up of correspondence, and as I was not answering, PayPal decided in seller's favor even the seller previously admitted shipping wrong products. Bottom line is that I really don't have time answering 20 mails and keeping track of this. I rather let it go, but even I like PayPal I am not going to use the service in the future for this purpose. I am certain that there are scammers that are counting of customers like me giving up of the refund claims due to PayPal's long and time consuming procedure.
