Beware other paypal users! We recently had someone trying to purchase an expensive item of nearly $800.00 using our personal bank account. Somehow, someone acquired access to our personal files through Paypal using my name and a different address. They had actually gotten into our Paypal account and added a new address and tried using our fund transfer sources. Within 2 weeks this amount was taken out and refunded twice. We went to our bank and had a form filed so paypal can't take this out again. They tried to take it out again just today without success due to the bank form we had filed! I can't imagine that Paypal can't completely stop a transaction they know is fraudalent permanently. They told us the system tries a second time to complete transactions by withdrawing funds to finalize transactions, but three times? Something doesn't quite seem right here. I hate to put Paypal down, but they aren't as secure as they claim. Everyone take extra precautions and check your account for any profile change you may not have personally made. Has anyone else had any similar problems?
