Good luck. I wouldn't waste my time if I were you. PayPal is fully aware of the problem but does nothing. ... View more

Hello Luv4tnns,   Be sure to file a claim with the Internet Crime Complaint Center IC3.  This is really a government issue and they need to do something about what is happening on these sites out of China.  At the very least, if enough of us complain it may help get the Cozyloves site to change for the better or get closed down.   @NebrGirl55  ... I'm happy for you. It is a lot of money. I learned it's better to pay shipping and not order so much at one time until I'm certain the company is legitimate. It was an expensive lesson to learn. ... View more

Update: Well guess what?  No refund after all.  PayPal acted like they were on my side and they would be sending me a refund after dealing with Chicinfos.  However, now wait for this, left it up to Chicinfos to refund my money.  I got an email from Chicinfos that if I returned the clothing they would issue me a refund.  Really PayPal???  A company that's scamming everyone is going to refund my money?  Oh and I had to provide proof that I had mailed the clothes to Chicinfos by the 23rd of Oct or the claim would be closed.  Guess when I read the email, snail mail, Oct 25th!  Why would I spend $50+ dollars to mail the clothes back to Chicinfos for a refund I'm never going to get!?!?  Even if they did pay me back I would get $45 back?  That's why I agreed to a $45 refund from Chicinfos with me keeping the clothes in the first place.  Great negotiations PayPal, thank you for nothing.   As you can tell I'm so mad right now.  My only option is to post the items on marketplace/craiglist/ebay.  But oh wait again, the items are for summer so to get my maximum $ I'll have to wait until next spring.  I've wasted I don't know how many hours with Chicinfos, PayPal and the Fed Internet Crime website.  People have lives w no time for anything as it is.  I'm a disabled woman w an 81 yr old mom who has cancer.   ... Yes, everyone needs to go to the sellers actual site. Look for full contact info, Home Office name, address & phone number. If there's nothing but an email address don't buy!!! And if you see any ties to China don't buy. I almost got **bleep** by another company w a home office in China and 2 locations in the US. If I hadn't been persistent and a royal pain threating to report them to the Feds internet complaint center, I probably would not have gotten my refund. ... View more

Totally agree! Sorry to hear you got scammed. Please file a complaint w the Internet Crime Complaint Center. If everyone files a complaint, hopefully the feds will shut down their site! ... View more

I'm sad to hear a lot of people didn't get reimbursed by PayPal.  I believe it has a lot to do with the way you present your claim.   I read through the info on the PayPal site about what they look for when you file a claim.  In this case the two main issues that you must prove, not just tell is: 1) the seller provided false, inaccurate or misleading info, and 2) items were significantly not as described.  Otherwise PayPal is not obligated to reimburse you.  Some of this may have to do with PayPal's liability insurance policy that they carry and the provisions required to meet under the insurance policy that they have purchased.    PayPal doesn't owe us money just because we were stupid and didn't do our normal due diligence. You can be guaranteed going forward with online sellers that I'll look for contact info of the companies home office, address, phone number and the like not just an email for customer service.  I'm also going back to buying from tried and true sellers here in the US.  I had no idea of the International Mail Treaty between USPS and foreign countries until this happened to me.  I'm glad to hear it has been renegotiated and they will be paying more starting January 2021.  Thank you  @Goatmom  ... Unfortunately I have to add myself to the list of people scammed by Cozyloves.com.  I lost $109.11 and made a claim w PayPal after 2 months of being **bleep** around by Cozylove service center.  My claim w PayPal is not concluded but they seemed to be taking it seriously. Note that this seller is also on Wish.com so beware!  I'm placing a complaint thru the Internet Crime Complaint Center and encourage all to do the same.  Although this was an add on Facebook, I don't think all advertising on FB is bad.  The main thing to look for going forward is: 1) the address of the Home office, and 2) the terms of returns.  If the address is in China, do not buy.  China is able to mail items to the US for pennies on the dollar due to a 150 yr old USPS agreement.  This initially was to encourage trade but now has turned out to be a nightmare for consumers.  They make very cheap merchandise and mail it for nothing so they are making $$$ hand over fist.   ...
