So, I found this website called MenaGot.com as I was searching for electronics and I came across this deal for a PS4 Neo Versa console. The normal retail price was £299 but they had a sale promotion going on so that if you bought it before August 30th, then you got it for £134.99. I thiught to myself, can I trust this website with limited stock and after a couple of minutes, I saw that the quantity left was dwindling so I decided to purchase one. It only accepts Paypal as the payment option and, furthermore, it is sent to a personal Paypal and not a Business Paypal. The main thing I noticed was that it came out stating that it was a donation. I thought that was strange but clicked buy. Cut to today (August 31st 2020). I had no confirmation order, the money was out of my account, and contact between the seller was zero. I opened a claim as a realised that it was a scam and it has now closed because the seller responded saying that we had meet up in person to discuss me giving him the money as a charity donation. Let me stress this enough, I've never met the seller nor heard anything from them until the claim was opened. Furthermore, I can no longer access their website MenaGot.com as now I have a 403 Forbidden screen every time I sign on. Long story short, Paypal have closed the claim and the scammer has gotten my money under the disguise of a donation. Is there anything I can do?
