I filed a PayPal Item Not Received Dispute over a week ago. The seller used a fake tracking number in which the shipped date was long before I even placed the order on Etsy. The seller was banned from Etsy and Esty just refers me back to PayPal. Despite providing proof of my Etsy order and showing the date I placed the order was several days after the fake UPS tracking number claims to have been shipped, PayPal still denied my claim and won't talk on the phone. Has anyone else had a similar issue and what did they do to resolve it? I would have to have to go to my bank and tell them to refund me as that would probably mean my PayPal account will be negative, then again after this experience I will probably never use them again.
