I was completely scammed and ordered a pool off of Etsy and used paypal. This pool was 18 foot by 52 inches and would have weighed 276 pounds. I paid $751.63 for the pool. The very next day, I looked at the purchase on Paypal and the seller added a tracking number that showed the item had already been delivered. Upon further investigation, I found out that the item was delivered 5 days before I even ordered the item to another person in my city. This was a false tracking number for my item obviously. Also the tracking number was for a 2.06 pound item. I have contacted my credit union, Paypal, Etsy and UPS and no one can help me get my $751.63 back. When I contacted Etsy they showed that the seller closed their Etsy store within hours of my placing my order. Now paypal has closed my case that same day I filed a dispute. I didn't know how to state my dispute as I just ordered the item on 8/4/20 and the money came out of my account on 8/6/20. The tracking said it was delivered on 7/30/20 and therefore I could not say I didn't received my item as you would not get the item in two days after ordered being it was box weighing 276 pounds and needed to be delivered via a freight truck most likely. So I changed the case to fraud, which really made it an unauthorized payment claim. I had not intended to do that as I had authorized the payment but know that I have been scammed considering all the other circumstances. Anyone else have something similar happen and know what I can do since I could never talk to a live person and have tried calling paypall about 25 times in the past two days. I keep getting a message that says "We cannot respond to your inquiry at this time. Please send a message to the resolution center." So frustrating!!!
