I sold an expensive item on Ebay to a "highly rated" buyer. She paid me promptly through Paypal. Thirty days later, Paypal receives a dispute from her "financial institution" saying the item wasn't delivered. I provided the Fedex receipt with her signature. Meanwhile, Paypal takes the money from my account ($700) and says "it is under investigation". After complaining, Paypal returns my $$ but today, Paypal notifies me that the issue has been resolved in the buyer's favor. How can that be? She received the item, two days after purchasing it on Ebay and two days after paying my Paypal. Has anyone encountered this?
