@Volo_Designs Paypal contributes to your return costs, did you read the link? But yes basically that is how it works, so you need to risk assess who you trade with. Paypal only gives you 'some' protection so its best to read up on it to see what it does and does not cover you for. If you avoid buying tat from China (and social media ads as they are just as bad) then normally you should be ok as return shipping costs are not as high as paypal pays for you with its return shipping policy for most sales.
